Multistrada 1200 / MTS1200 tyre recommendation – Michelin Pilot Road 3 (Michelin PR3)
Wherever you look the PR3’s (Michelin Pilot Road 3) are favourite choice and I’ve not read a bad word about them from anyone that’s tried them on the MTS1200. Superb tyre, my own experience confirms all the great feedback/reviews on the forums and elsewhere…….my second set were fitted recently! 😀 AndyW ….update Pilot Road 4’s now available – my next choice without hesitation!
I have ridden on all makes of tyre and I find these (PR3) the best for our UK weather. I put on PR3s just before a long tour round Scotland. The PR3s were absolutely fantastic, from dry roads through to torrents running across the road they worked well, warm up quickly and wear very well. My mate who was behind me in the rain said he was amazed at the clear line I was leaving on the wet road because of the way the tyre dispels the water. steviegasgas
