Ducati Multistrada 1200 DIY Modifications

There were so many ideas for DIY modifications to the R1200GS as there are after market parts available and I’m sure the same will apply to the Multistrada 1200 with time. In fact right now, June 2010, the after market parts and accessories market is almost devoid of items for the MTS1200 so for now DIY is pretty much the only choice for the time being. (Multistrada accessories……oh so different now!! [Jan2012])

I love seeing some of the innovative ideas people come up with to solve ‘problems’ or ‘issues’ with their bikes or to just plain save money over buying after market parts. Even the ones that don’t appeal to me or suit my needs are always interesting to read about and often lead to other ideas! Modifying your motorcycle can become addictive, for the R1200GS the ideas and options seemed endless, hopefully that’ll be the same for the MTS1200 :-}
