DIY GPS mount for Zumo 550

I have just finished making up a mount for my Multistrada 1200 / MTS1200 Touring to take my Garmin Zumo 550

It’s very simple and uses just the Motorcyle carrier / cradle for the Zumo.

I made the plates with hard Ally 2mm sheet – gives just a little spring as a shock mount. Foam strip between damps the bounce just right…

The full size image of the plates should print to actual size of the two plates required.

Took an hour to cut and finish the plates – sprayed and mounted…

The Garmin power cable goes to the Multistrada’s supplied GPS power connector under the left side panel…[more info]
