Take longer to look for bikes!
A message for all car drivers (and van drivers, lorry drivers….all motorists / road users!) – the unforgettable TV ad made for the UK DOT Think! campaign to encourage drivers / motorists to THINK! bike. How close does a biker have to be before you see them?
….and the latest Mar2012) THINK! Bike THINK! Biker motorcycle safety campaign video for TV from Think / Department for Transport aimed at car drivers (motorcycle awareness!): http://think.direct.gov.uk/motorcycles.html
In similar vein to the ‘what do we have to do to be seen’ campaigns this TV advert shows bikers with neon signs attached to their bikes showing the rider’s name and information about them such as ‘shy retiring type’ or ‘new dad’. The voice over at the end asks drivers to look out for motorcyclists next time they are out driving.
Think Bike, Think Biker…drivers urged to THINK BIKER
