The front cylinder head on the Multistrada 1200 looks great with its gold finish BUT it is very vulnerable to damage from stones being thrown up from the front tyre. These can not only could chip the paint, allowing water in and then corrosion of the head, they could also cause damage to the ignition coil. Now I’m no expert and have never priced a replacement coil up but I’m guessing they are expensive!

• These cylinder head guards are made from 1.5mm stainless steel so will protect your cylinder head and ignition coil from flying stones.
• They are finished in either brushed stainless or textured satin black powder coat.
• As you can see from the pictures, various text options are available.

The guards themselves are very easy to fit, utilising the threaded holes on the cylinder head and come with 2 stainless steel fixings.

Please note- I would recommend using a little thread lock on each of the fixings (Red not high strength Blue;-)
