So what’s the story?…

That’s exactly what I asked Italian (Varese, Italy) owner Francesco Pavinato…

There is always a story to everything…here I was on the Internet doing some research on the Multistrada 1200 since i was thinking of changing my trusty Aprilia RSV Factory. I wanted a more comfy bike but still a sporty one..besides I had already tried a Multistrada 1200S Touring model and I liked it very much.

With a couple of guys here we planned a vacation in the south of Florence (on our bikes of course…still with the Aprilia) and while we were there I decided to go to the Ducati Florence dealer..you know, just to have a look around 🙂

And there it was, a YELLOW! Multistrada 1200. They told me that sometimes the Florence dealer gets some sorts of “color scheme test” bikes that usually don’t go into production…for example they had the first white Hypermotard ever…and they even had a grey 999…

And this is the end of the story…..

….saw it……… liked it………bought it!!
Went to Florence with the Aprilia, came back with a Ducati 😀

And my father yelled at me. 😀
