Rusor’s Red Baron – 2008 R1200GS Adventure
Belgiun rider Danny’s (RUSOR, http://forum.bmw-mc-vl.be) beautiful modified 2008 BMW R1200GS Adventure (R1200GSA).
The Red Baron would not have been possible without the proper service and help of BMW Motorrad Belux, Cenmoto bvba – my thanks to Luc Peeters and his team.

Myself and my wife both have GS’s and two identical bikes at home isn’t my thing so Rusor’s Red Baron was born!
The grey one we keep standard and the red one we pimped a little bit. But it isn’t just a custom bike because it is riden every day. We have put R1200S 17″ wheels on the GSA. To do this we had to change the position of the brake calipers so they don’t touch the wheels. We had to have a custom made spacer for the front wheel – this spacer fits in the S wheel and fits on the other side onto the fork of the GSA. The front mudguard is a 2007 Boxer Design fender that we modified for a 2008 GSA. At the rear we had to change the standard exhaust to clear the wider wheel.

The other things changed or modified on the GSA are not so special…
