DUCATI AIR FILTERS – High Efficiency / High Performance filter option:
The revolutionary new High Efficiency Airfilter form MWR is designed to reduce intake noise and yet still deliver increased power. The incoming turbulent air is stabilised and accelerated around the edge of the airsplitter plate, resulting in a greater volume of air evenly distributed throughout the airbox. Unlike any other sports air filter all inlets will get the same quantity of air regardless of the speed of the motorcycle, wind direction etc. No different fuel-mapping is required for internal & external or front & rear cylinders. MotoGP, WSBK, WSS and Moto2 are already using this technology.

Note from AndyW – I have just bought one of these, after a lot of research, to replace the pleated gauze (K&N style) air filter provided by Ducati with the full Termignoni exhaust system. Speaking to a number of Ducati performance specialists the general consensus was that performance wise there was little/nothing to separate the various brands of after-market / ‘performance’ air filters but what really stood out with the MWR filters was the very superior seal made with the air box and snorkel air intake plate.
