WP BMW R1200GS Electronic Suspension

WP Suspension introduces the aftermarket EDS (Electronic Damping System) for the BMW R1200GS Motorcycle. A simple touch of a button allows you to change your suspension to single use, passenger use, or both. After this decision, you just select how you'd like your suspension to react:
• comfort: for long trips for example
• Normal: for everyday riding
• Sportive: for if you find a beautiful twisty road section.
The system comes complete with all cables, software, front and rear shock with electric adjustment motor.www.wpsuspension.com   www.wpsuspension.co.uk

Modified R1200GS by AC Schnitzer

AC Schnitzer modified / custom R1200GS

High quality components are characterised by excellent fit and durability, and by perfect integration into the existing silhouette. So the AC Schnitzer designers first picked up the side covers over the tank. This curved shape was extended over the Boxer engine parallel to the auxiliary frame leading to the rear, and ends under the pillion. This completes the aesthetic line between the tank and the rear, and creates a new harmonious overall appearance.

The acoustic signals are provided by the AC Schnitzer Revolution silencer - with EC type approval - which further emphasises the motorsport heritage of the R 1200 GS. The silencer is fitted with a removable "DB-Killer". In addition a decat sports manifold is available without presilencer, specially developed for long-distance riders.
The GS becomes a cornering machine par excellence thanks to the V-Performance wheelset. These wheels come in size 3.5" at the front and 5.5" at the rear, with tyres size 120/70-17 at the front and 180/55-17 at the rear. With the new drive train, cooling opening in the hub and the 5-hole fixing, this wheel was difficult to design.

The exposed back of the instrument panel - still unusual for BMW drivers - is blocked by the new AC Schnitzer cockpit trim. The impressively strong front part is emphasised even further by this component which can painted in body colour.

As a little eyecatcher, the cover cap of turned anodised aluminium with the AC Schnitzer smooth insert fits over the frame bearing journals. The 17" mudguard completes the overall picture. The GS modified by AC Schnitzer looks poised for action, and rides accordingly.
